THE ULTIMATE GETAWAY VEHICLE

2021 SPECIALIZED DIVERGE

Specialized has released it’s most capable gravel bike ever made bringing you speed, control and confidence on any terrain. Switching from gravel to single track trails, the 2021 Specialized Diverge is faster than it’s ever been.

All-New Specialized Diverge

The all-new Diverge is here. Equipped with the new Future Shock 2.0 and updated frame geometry, the new 2021 Specialized Diverge was built to give riders more control and confidence at higher speeds. The control comes from the ability to adjust the Future Shock 2.0 so you can lock it during sprints or intervals and unlock it when you rip through trails. The confidence comes from the updated frame geometry making the bike much more effective with the more tire clearance than ever before. The new Diverge is ultra capable making it easy to mount accessories like fenders, hydration and bags. With eleven different models to choose from, there’s a Diverge for every type of rider. Shop for the new  Diverge at Bike Depot.

Future Shock 2.0

Smoothen your ride with the adjustable, hydraulically dampened travel to keep you in control while protecting your body from the battering of rugged terrain.

Gravel Bike Demands

Riders are pushing limits like never before. So specialized challenged themselves to create a gravel bike to keep up with the demands of today’s gravel rider. The 2021 Specialized Diverge gives you more speed so you can push the distance and up the challenge.

More Confidence and Speed

The updated frame geometry lets you stay in control providing more stability, gravity and more pedal plus tire clearance. It’s also lighter than its predecessor. This new rendition gives you so much more confidence, giving you everything a gravel bike is supposed to have.

Diverge’s internal SWAT™

With access to the Diverge’s internal compartment, you can get the gear out of your pockets and put it low into your frame, improving your handling and keeping your upper body free and comfortable. We know how important it is to be prepared as you space further into the unknown. The Specialized SWAT™ system will help keep all your belongings dry and organized.

Super Fast. Super light.

At under 1,000 grams the Diverge’s frame is lighter than most stripped-down gravel race frames with skimpy clearance, while being more capable than anything else in the gravel. Climb it, race it, or load it down with packs and fenders for the long haul, Diverge does it all, faster and lighter than the rest.

The Diverge EVO

With flat bars and geometry even more progressive then the new drop bar Diverge you better hang onto your flannel. Specialized significantly increased the reach, slackened the head tube and lowered the bottom bracket, to put you ‘in’ the bike for a super planted feeling.

Key Highlights

Escape on gravel back roads, or drop the hammer at the front of your favourite gravel race, no bike does it better than the new Diverge. It’s quite simply the fastest, most capable – and just maybe the most fun – bike Specialized has ever made, delivering a ride that’s quick and lively under power, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough.

Fatter is Funner

Nothing unlocks potential like tire clearance. Luckily, Specialized was generous. Very generous—47mm on a 700c wheel and 2.1” on 650B. Wait until you rip a descent with that much rubber.

Gravel Geometry

Specialized decided to reinvent gravel geometry, no equation could tell them what was right, so they grabbed a hacksaw and some carbon fiber and got their hands dirty.

Chainstays Reinvented

Specialized wanted mega-tire clearance, but they didn’t want to resort to long chainstays or a heavy, vulnerable, dropped-stay design. The answer? The drive side chainstay is a narrow, solid beam of carbon between the tire and chainrings.
